If we haven’t met, I’m Barbara, the mum and maker behind CraftyBabs. I create knitted-wire name signs for children’s rooms.

Freya already had her Pink Berry name, but after seeing a customer’s multicoloured Sofia, she mentioned those colours again the following morning.

So while she was away for a sleepover, I spent my child-free evening making her another one.

Five letters, six colours—and one heart for the final shade. 💜

She knew the room. We found the colours.

My customer showed me Sofia’s room and the colours already surrounding her. From there, we worked together to create this six-colour combination — and I love how beautifully it came together.

This is one of my favourite parts of making name signs: you know your child and their space, and I can help turn those details into something that feels made to belong there.

Sofia is now on her way to her new home. 💜
