💛 Calling All Knitters, Crocheters & Quilters 💛
Help Bring Comfort to Scotland’s Smallest & Most Vulnerable Babies
ScotSTAR is a division of the Scottish Ambulance Service specialising in the transfer of critically ill patients across Scotland.
Carol Robertson, one of the specialist Neonatal Nurses, recently visited us to ask whether our wonderful crafting community could help support babies and families during these incredibly difficult journeys.
Currently, during infant retrievals, ScotSTAR are able to provide donated quilts and clothing to help keep babies warm and comforted during transport. These precious handmade items are then gifted to parents afterwards — something that can mean so much, especially in times of loss.
As the service prepares to move base, they may no longer have access to these donated supplies and are now respectfully asking for help.
If you are near the shop I have lots of lovely Free wool or fabrics available to be used for the items if youre short of supplies x
