For the second post in our series for British Flowers week, we thought we'd take a moment to celebrate the industry, and how far we've come. British cut flowers are having a bit of a moment, and we are HERE for it! Big shout out to for all the work they've done on securing a SIC code, and generally promoting the benefits of using locally grown flowers. We appreciate you!

We're kicking off British Flowers Week with a celebration of the wonderful, seasonal flowers we can grow in this country. It can be a challenge, especially with the increasing weather extremes, but just look at what is possible when you put your mind (and back!) to it! We'll be sharing information about all things British flowers this week, so keep a look out for extra content from us, and feel free to ask any questions.

Life on the farm so far this month...

1🌞 Hello flowers! 😍 The heat at the end of May has brought so many plants into flower, we've been kept on our toes getting everything picked.
2 🌞 Did someone say heat?! This is the face of someone who's been working away in a polytunnel at +40 degrees... ðŸĨĩ
3 🌞 The seedlings basking in the early morning sunshine
4 🌞 The butterflies are also in their element...
5 🌞 Someone needs to tell these anemones their time is up, we've got dahlias to plant! Hard to pull something up when they're still producing flowers this pretty though.

Just make sure you're getting top notch flowers... and *ahem*, we don't like to boast but when the flowers are this good, we don't want to say goodbye! ðŸĪĐ
