Shetland sheep wool may vary across 11 main colours: light grey, grey, white, emsket (dusky bluish-grey), musket (light greyish-brown), shaela (dark steely-grey), black, fawn, moorit (reddish brown), mioget (honey-toned, yellowish-brown), and dark brown.

The Shetland ram samples are all ready to be posted out for Micron testing 👌 Slightly nervous to see how they all fair.
Included is Castell Invergowrie, 2023 Rare & Primitive Show Champion of Cothi Bridge Show, along with the fleckett rams I used this year, Inverurie and Inverness, exciting times!

All our fleeces come from my fibre flock of sheep, raised in the Towy Valley of West Wales. The good grass, regular rainfall and our affiliation to recognised farming governing bodies ensures our sheep have the best care and attention.
My focus on fibre ensures that the fleece is free of paint markers, that the staple is strong and that the handle is soft.

"Miranda"

Freshly Shorn raw Black Leicester Long Wool flece, in reality this is "shades of grey", with colours from white, cream, light grey, dark grey and brown.
98% free of VM and well skirted, it has superb lustre and beautiful ringlets.
£70 whole, £35 half.

As a reminder, our fleeces are produced in the lovely valleys of Wales, our sheep are kept as breeding ewes and focus is on their wool production.
