We were delighted to supply and fit new carpet tiles at Llantwit Major Bowls Club 👏
The chequered design has really transformed the clubhouse, and the tile format means any future wear and tear can be easily replaced—practical and stylish!

✨ Recent Installation in Llantwit Major ✨
We recently had the pleasure of installing J2 Flooring Herringbone in Carpenters Oak in this beautifully renovated bungalow in Llantwit Major.
Our client was looking for a more traditional style that would still complement a contemporary interior—and Carpenters Oak delivered perfectly. With its rich brown tones and warm golden highlights, it brings natural character and timeless charm to any space. The subtle grain detailing enhances the authentic timber look, while the durability and practicality of LVT make it ideal for modern living.
Carpenters Oak also works beautifully across J2’s range of panel designs, including basket weave, château panel, and more—offering plenty of versatility in design.

We were recently asked to inspect an SPC herringbone floor that had been installed by another contractor. Unfortunately, the flooring had been installed directly over an electric underfloor heating system.

This had caused multiple hot spots across the floor, with temperatures exceeding the limits recommended by BS 8203:2017 and the flooring manufacturer.

Working closely with the team at Trewtric House, we recommended the best solution was to uplift the flooring and remove the underfloor heating system.

The clients then selected J2 Flooring Regal Timber Herringbone from the Natural Timbers range. Its timeless elegance and contemporary style made it the perfect choice for their interior design scheme – and we think the finished result looks stunning.
