A new year which means a new post.

An update of our Pontcanna project as it’s coming on nicely.

The boys have been working their socks off on the run up to Christmas and even between Christmas and New Year and this is the progress they have made.

With work starting back fully next week we will be looking to get the steel ridge beam fitted and all of the new roof rafters along with the last couple of external walls and then we will be ready for external felting, cement boards and battens to try and get this project water tight asap.

Once this is done over the next couple of weeks we will have all the internal stud work up ready to 1st fix plumbing and electrics.

Phase 1 of our Llantwit Major barn conversion for you all to see.

Turning this outdated barn into the dream home for this couple has been nothing short of amazing so far.

What was previously owned by the now owners parents, Tim & Della decided they wanted to create their forever home in bringing this property back to life.

Wait until you see phase 2 next week, it’s come on massively since these updates were taken.

3 weeks into our new project in Pontcanna, Cardiff and we are absolutely smashing it out of the park. #

No rear or side access which means everything has to be brought in or removed in buckets through the front door.

Not ideal at all but we get it done.

We are now up to DPC and will be starting the timber frame extensions at the start of week 4, you don’t get much better than that.

We have demolished and removed a double storey rear extension and the plans are to build a new double storey rear extension along with a single storey rear extension with the downstairs being nice and open plan.

Give us another few weeks and we will have the timber frame shell up, roof on, floor joists in and steels in.

Rumney, Cardiff Loft Conversion.

How good does this new loft conversion look 🔥

This project consists of 2 bedrooms, a boiler cupboard, 2 storage cupboards, a flat roof dormer along with a shared bathroom and a hip to gable.

This has now turned the property from a 3 bedroom house into a 5 bedroom house adding 2 bright spacious kids bedrooms.

Updates on our project in Mumbles.

We are currently about 2 weeks away from having this one wrapped up and we can’t wait to show you the end product.

We are only getting this one to a plaster finish but it’s going to be a great transformation.

Roof lantern is being fitted on Tuesday, painter is getting the outside started on Wednesday, the windows have now been fitted and we are just waiting for the bifolds this well as well.

We’ve got some Insulating, plaster boarding and plastering to do and then that’s a wrap on this lovely job.

It’s been a while since we’ve posted project updates but it doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy, if anything we have been too busy.

Here’s an update on our chapel conversion Project in Bridgend.

We are 7 working days into this project and the boys are absolutely smashing it.

It’s a 3 storey building being converted into a high end Air B&B on the ground floor and a long term rental on the first floor and second floor.

The Carpenters will be on the first floor next week carrying on with more studwork and fitting the new stair case.

The ground floor is all ready for first fix electrics & plumbing and then we are onto finishing the plaster boarding ready for the plasterers to come in and get it pushed on.

Canton project progress after 6 weeks.

This project consists of a timber frame new build garage, a timber frame rear extension, a dormer loft conversion and a full house refurbishment.

Progress is incredible after just 6
Weeks in and we can’t thank the team enough.

We’ve got another good week planned on the run up to Christmas to get this project pushed on ready for an exciting start back in the new year.

Margam Project.

What a 4 week turn around this was.

We fitted this lovely landscaping project in between the extensions and loft conversions we’ve been doing.

Look how good it has turned out (scroll to the last 2 pictures).

We formed steps, a seating area and 2 very large flat patio areas.

What a transformation this is.

We even removed a swimming pool which didn’t take long to fill in.

When we tell people we are good, we really mean it.

Our Tonyrefail job is coming on lovely.

Single storey rear extension with open plan kitchen and dining room along with outdoor patio area.

Over the next couple of weeks bifolds will be in, knock through will be complete with steels fitted, ceiling and walls will be boarded ready for kitchen measure and screed will be laid.

What more can we ask for from the boys even with the shocking weather we are still having.

Another one of our projects absolutely flying.

4 weeks in and we’ve taken the roof fully off, cut a new roof back on, felt, battened and slatted the new cut roof, built a brand new gable, fitted floor joists, stair case, floor boards, stud walls, insulated and plaster boarded.

All ready for plastering.

Once plastering is completed 2nd fix electrics, 2nd fix plumbing and 2nd fix carpentry will all be completed ready for decorating.

Another couple of weeks and this 2 bedroom hip to gable loft conversion will be complete.

USK , Newport Project nearly wrapped up.

Again just some snagging to finish off and we are all done.

Lovely glass extension to the side of this lovely barn house. With a big 6 metre knock through to let in loads of light into what was a very dark living room.

This really simple build idea has transformed this property.
