It’s but does 2026 look a lot like 1926? 🕰️✨
We’re seeing a massive comeback of trends that were once considered “dated,” but with a modern, intentional twist.
Here’s how we’re doing them now:
• Textile Wall Hangings: We’ve traded the macramé of the ‘70s for large-scale, antique-inspired tapestries that bring acoustic softness to modern, “echoey” open plans.
• Art Deco (Neo-Deco): Forget the sharp, formal chrome of the past. “Neo-Deco” in 2026 is softer, using warm brushed brass, fluted wood, and “cosy curves” to feel luxurious yet lived in.
• Patterned Wallpaper: No longer just a “Grandma Chic” accent wall, 2026 is all about “Pattern Drenching” covering all four walls (and sometimes the ceiling!) to create a cocoon like, immersive retreat.
• Skirted Furniture: What once felt “fuddy-duddy” is now the height of “Soft Traditionalism,” adding a grounded, tailored layer to contemporary rooms.
Which of these “vintage” vibes are you most excited to see back in the spotlight? 💬
