Your curtains need somewhere to go.
When curtains are open, all that fabric has to stack somewhere. If there isn’t enough space beside the window, it can end up sitting over the glass, quietly reducing the amount of daylight and view you actually get.
This is why curtain planning isn’t just about choosing a beautiful fabric or deciding how high to hang the track.
You also need to consider the width of the window, the amount of fabric, how it gathers and where that fabric will sit when the curtains are fully open.
A beautiful window deserves to work properly too.
