The beautiful soft brushed cotton of these Romo Linara curtains provide the finishing touches to this bedroom in North Chingford.

Handmade, these curtains are created with a wave design, offering a contemporary look that blends with my clients interior design of her master bedroom. They hand beautifully from a custom English Oak pole that has been crafted to include a brass gliding track system that matches the other hardware in their bedroom.

What a pleasure it was to sew and install this hand-made roman blind this week in my client's ensuite using the stunning Harlequin Juto fabric. My client loved the fabric and needed to find the perfect room in her home for it to go in. I think she succeeded!

The Fabric House description: "Juto is an embroidered weave, textured and hypnotic. Linear and contemporary, the design follows natures rhythm and collides with modern art for a truly unique fabric with a robust texture. The 100% cotton base creates a strong ground from which the threads of the embroidery march in occasional zig zag formation."

Trying to find the words to describe my lovely client's front room ... not a bit of white in sight! With her eye for interiors, we spent a bit of time deciding on the design of the curtain and the right fabric to work with the room. The curtains were the finishing touch, leaving the room so calm, you could sit there for hours. Love it ❤️

What a difference blinds make ...
a mini makeover at Chingford Cricket Clubhouse recently.

With the summer we've had, the cricket club desperately needed some screening from the sun. The old blackout blinds did just that 'black everything out'.

But these carefully selected semi-sheer rollers not only complimented the new paint decor, but they have helped diffuse the sunlight; still allow a view outside; and, allow a good level to light still to remain inside the clubhouse.

Without blocking out the light completely, or the view, these sheer roller blinds help diffuse the sunlight entering this room.

No longer blinded by the sun, you can get a controlled view of the outside during the day. The great thing about rollers is you can manage whether you want them part down, half down, or all the way down. The choice is yours after all

Sharing the love ... These beautiful wave curtains were lovingly made with a textured silky effect fabric from Villa Nova fabric and interlined to add some volume and blackout lined to control the light in this gorgeous North Chingford bedroom. Ceiling hung on a trusted wave track from Silent Gliss giving this whole bedroom a modern hotel living style
