Taking one of our handmade wooden baskets and giving it a little cottage charm makeover today 🌿

This basket was handmade using reclaimed bed slats, which makes me love it even more. I’m all for giving old materials a new life and turning them into something beautiful and useful.

I love how a simple stencil and soft pattern can completely transform a piece and give it so much character. Perfect for the garden, flower picking, fresh veg, or just adding a bit of rustic charm around the home.

There’s something really satisfying about slowing down and creating by hand, especially when you can take something simple and make it feel special again ✨

Come along while I stencil one of my favourite patterns onto this little basket 🤍

Our latest creation, Maggie's Made & Reclaimed

An antique Barley Twist Stool reupholstered with custom kingfisher fabric.

We have no idea of the year for the stool itself, as this item was not appraised. But I do believe it is probably a 19th-century revival and NOT a 17th-century original. As it is still very old, there was minimal restoration to the wood to keep the original rather than devalue it with paint or stain.

What do you think?

8 chairs saved from the skip. Stripped, repaired, painted and upholstered. These caused a few grey hairs, but we are delighted with the result!
