Happy June! First finished WIP for the month.

I'm so happy to finally have it finished, I wore it out the first chance I got!

My second finished quilt and I love it!

This one is bigger than the first one and I actually used batting rather than a fleecy backing fabric so that was a new experience, that I enjoyed. It was messier than I expected though with fibers going everywhere! The lint roller was never far away at the end of this project!

I really want to try something other than a basic patchwork quilt so let me know if you have any beginner friendly quilt tops that I should try!

Fabric: Quartz Metallic Tonals in 5 inch squares. I used almost 2 packs because I only ordered one the first time but it was way too small.

It's hard to spot from these pictures but they all have one thing in common - I used the Essential Thread in Parchment to sew these pieces.

This has quickly become a staple thread for me where I haven't needed to change my needle thread for the last few months!

I definitely want to get more colours but Parchment is the perfect neutral that pretty much goes well with all the fabric I am using at the moment!

The WIP that keeps on. I've shared this Chroma Worsted in Fall Favourite granny cardigan a few times but hopefully this is the last time as a WIP.

POV: You lost at yarn chicken again and had to add in another colour for the border.

I gotta say I'm not sold on the white border, and seeing as I picked up the wrong hook size, I may frog back and add the correct colours in my next order from

I brought these crocs over a year ago when I was heavily pregnant. I knew I wanted to customize them, but I ran into decision fatigue where the possibilities were endless.

However, when this Muse Wool arrived this month from I knew it would be perfect for this project.

I free handed some granny squares and sewed them on. This was finished in one evening so I'm defo loving the instant gratification on this one! I ofc had to wear them out straight away but I'm hoping to add a little bling to sparkle in the sunshine 🌞🌞🌞

I had a 4 patch left from my Sweetwater Ridge Charm Pack so I made these cute letters for a garland for my daughter.

If you are looking for something small to make with your fabric scraps, this is such a quick and easy sew. Just don't be like me and keep all layers flat before sewing so you don't catch the edge of the backing fabric in your letters 😅

I started this quilt top a while back and really enjoyed laying each colour out and piecing it together. I didn't have a plan for the size I wanted but when I finished it, I realised it was smaller than I imagined.

Not to worry though, if you saw my latest fabric haul, you would know I got another pack of the quartz metallic tonal charm packs so I'm set to finish this quilt top soon!

Anyone else getting Elmer vibes from this?
