Treasure hunting is about looking for something and seeing value where others didn’t. Coming across this container of old medical slides was incredibly exciting! I looked through the box to select the ones that I wanted to print and left the others for someone else to discover.

I only have a few and sometimes I share them on here.
I felt that they are slightly spooky given the month of Halloween, but otherwise the human body is incredibly beautiful. I don’t know what this ailment was, but I hope the person behind the scan was okay in the end.

I’m hosting a workshop next week in Kingston if you’d like to learn how to do this, and if you want to learn more about the process!

Being a witch would be one of the coolest things. When I was younger, I was really into paganism and then Wicca and read all the books about crystals and herbs, understanding weather patterns and casting spells. Although I never pursued it, it’s definitely stayed with me my whole life and when I was looking at my collection of objects yesterday, I suddenly thought about the fact that if someone had to come across it, they might think I was a witch. So maybe I did become one in the end?
