T R A N S I T I O N Tuesday
A new type of pic for me on transformation Tuesday, or as I like to say when transition Tuesday. This room was originally overpowered by big statement pieces, heavy furniture, and those velvet curtains. Stripping this all away and replacing it will curated materials and pieces enabled the room to be light, soft, and breathe.
My golden rule is I want spaces to breathe, so you can move easily within them and the pieces you have, can speak for themselves. I lean on neutral tones and natural materials to help me achieve it. Linens, cottons, wood and marble, all help create the ambience and look I want.

This room is no different. I wanted to create space, that was tranquil and comforting it is approach.

No clouds here, just pure blue skies, well apart from these amazing soft cloud like Peonies. One of my favourite flowers, and with a relatively short seasons they were just a lovely surprise from my two loves yesterday. They smell of spring, sunshine and serenity.... I wish you could smell them.

This is where I start everyday, my dressing room. A little too cluttered for my liking at the moment. I love marble surfaces or marble in general, but my favourite spot is the repurposed Saint Laurent images from a Paris Fashion week look book in 2011, now artwork for my walls.
