“The Archives”: a new art project at Meridiani House in Copenhagen

Inside Meridiani House Copenhagen by Christine Callsen a new art project comes to life: “The Archives - A Living Collection,” born from a collaboration with 2112 , a Danish gallery founded in 2016 by art historian Caroline Bøge.

“The Archives” brings art into the Meridiani spaces, creating a narrative in which artworks, furnishings and architecture define one another. Here, a selection of works by artists represented by 2112 finds its place alongside Meridiani furnishings, following the creative vision of Christine Callsen - renowned Danish interior architect and long-standing Meridiani partner.

“The Archives” becomes an expression of Christine Callsen’s “ME”, where everything comes together to tell her story, and the story of her home.

“30 years of ME” in Tokyo

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Meridiani, the brand also marks this important milestone in Japan together with Omobito - its long-standing partner and a key reference in the Japanese market - with an event inspired by “30 years of ME” at Meridiani’s showroom in Tokyo.

A special event welcomed architects, designers and industry enthusiasts to the elegant Meridiani store in Minamiaoyama, in the exclusive Minato district. A prime location that tells the Meridiani story through living, dining and night areas, offering new inspiration for a home that can be truly made one’s own – in line with the promise expressed by the “my home is ME” tagline.

René evolves with new possibilities.
New curved elements expand the compositional freedom of the collection, allowing the sofa to become double-sided and adapt to different layouts.
Alongside it, René Suite introduces a new modular system designed to live at the centre of the room and adapt to spaces of different sizes.

Meridiani has renewed its exhibition layout at Dexelance Villa in Shanghai with a selection of the 2026 Collection by Andrea Parisio.

Among the new pieces on display are René Suite, the new modular sofa system, René bed and Omar bedside tables. The setting reflects Meridiani’s approach to contemporary living, where a strong design identity meets the refined and distinctive local lifestyle.

Located in Shanghai’s Xuhui district, the space continues to serve as a meeting point for architects, interior designers and industry professionals, while confirming the strategic role of China in Meridiani’s international development.

A historic apartment, reimagined as an urban retreat.

Located in an 1879 building in the heart of Copenhagen, this private residence combines the charm of historic architecture with a contemporary design language, featuring a selection of Meridiani furnishings.

The René sofa takes centre stage in the living area, complemented by the Leon low table and Forrest armchairs, while the Kira bed and Gong bedside tables define the sleeping area.

Curated by Rue Verte, Meridiani’s long-standing retail partner in Denmark, the project brings together soft tones, rich textures and carefully selected details.

Meridiani’s journey in China continues!

One year after the opening of its exhibition spaces in Shanghai, Meridiani is looking ahead to the next chapter of its growth in China.

The Shanghai spaces have been refreshed with new pieces from the 2026 Collection, designed by Andrea Parisio, creating a renewed setting for architects, interior designers and industry professionals to discover the Meridiani design language.

And there’s more to come: a new space in Hangzhou is set to open soon.
