Who says a hallway has to be neutral? 💙

We love how this deep blue accent wall completely transforms the energy of this vertical transition space. It’s a perfect example of how a strategic ‘pop’ of saturated color can provide a sophisticated, dramatic feel even in the more functional corners of a home.

By pairing the cool depth of the blue with the architectural warmth of the exposed plywood staircase, the entire core of this home feels curated and intentional, rather than just a way to move between floors.

Fantastic talk at Decorex on Tuesday with Naomi Astley Clarke on elitism in the Interior Design Industry and why it’s important to tackle.

Yesterday was lit! Early bird, before the exhibition opened, I was lucky enough to be invited to be in conversation with a private audience with the incoming president of the Liz Bell of - I chose to speak about snobbery in the interior design industry in the UK and what we can do to fix it. It was such a lively chat and we’ve had such an overwhelming response to the topic - hopefully this will be the start of a dialogue. It would be great to make the industry less scary for the young talent coming in and generally make the doors to this industry feel open and welcoming to all!

New project online ✨ The brief was to reinstate the kitchen to the ground floor of this large Georgian townhouse on historic square in Islington.

As an architect our client for this project had very clear design ideas but sought our help to coordinate the project and ensure her design aspirations were incorporated faithfully.

We co-ordinated a team of specialists to finalise the layouts, ensuring this was done without the need to apply for any consents except building regulations.
