Passion for Baking I love baking and this is a chance for me to share my bakes with everyone. Try them out!

I am an Aussie living in Surrey, UK, and I find it really interesting to take trips down memory lane, recreating my own childhood favourites, but also some British ones for my husband too. And of course, I hope to inspire my own son to love baking too - he has his own Masterchef Aus apron and hat! I have always dabbled in the kitchen, but it's really only been the last few years that I have taken

it further and made a proper hobby out of baking. Most of it was born from the need to make dairy/egg/nut free bakes for my son, so he could also enjoy treats like other children. Now that he can have egg and butter in cakes and biscuits, I have been able to expand my baking without leaving him out. I do still make things he can't eat, but I always make sure there is something in reserve for him too! I hope you can enjoy my posts, and use my blog as a reference point for your own baking. I really consider everything I post, with the intention that the recipes are achievable for all!

Happy Easter to you all (if you celebrate Easter!) There’s no baking for me this year as I don’t have a kitchen at the moment, so here’s my favourite bunny filled with my fav Easter treat, mini eggs. Saying that, my actual fav treat might be hot cross buns, and this year we have discovered chocolate hot cross buns which are absolutely amazing, especially if you buy them on Thursdays when freshly baked! The cutest little Easter jars now adorn my shelf filled to the brim with Easter treats. And the best part? It wasn’t easy getting those mini eggs in there so it’s also hard to get them out without them spilling everywhere! Perfect for portion control! Valentine’s Day 2026 ❤️. I made my favourite chocolate bundt cake in a heart-shaped pan to celebrate the day of love for my two loves- husband and son!
It was topped with a thick layer of chocolate ganache and perfectly ripe raspberries!

I’ve just discovered a fantastic new page to follow and I’ve been scrolling through her whole account. (Look for the vegan lemon posset reel- it’s so funny!). Loved her simple muffin recipe, so thought I’d dig out some frozen fruit and make some. I always have frozen fruit in the freezer for exactly this purpose. Today I used blackberries and blueberries. We are loving our new Ninja Creami!
Today I have whizzed up their vegan raspberry icecream and the vegan coconut icecream. The flavour in both is unbelievable. Yesterday, I made pineapple sorbet. Now we have a stock of choices in the freezer!

May not quite look it but this double layer chocolate ‘Take Home Cake’ from ‘Sweet’ by and was huge! With raspberry jam in the middle and lathered in delicious chocolate ganache, it was perfect for our exam celebration!
