Just finished an 8 week refurbishment on a 2 bedroom bungalow loaded with bags of character in Worksop! 🏡

An initial walk around this property revealed 1970s inspired interior decoration, complete with swirly carpets and tired wallpaper throughout.

We stripped and gutted the entire property and started from scratch, with a full scheme of plastering and re-wiring, as well as fitting a brand new bathroom, kitchen, carpets and flooring.

Each room on the ground floor provided a brief snapshot of what were once picturesque gardens and this led the interior design scheme.

The combination of natural materials used in the kitchen and living spaces and Laura Ashley wallpapered walls provided a modern country inspired theme, designed to create a seamless transition between the interior spaces and gorgeous surrounding gardens.

In the bathroom, the slick grey tiled floors and walls add a modern edge and the waterfall taps and stainless steel shower head create a subtle air of elegance.

Upstairs, we re-configured an awkwardly laid out loft space into a generously sized second bedroom complete with a walk-in wardrobe to add a modest dose of luxury✨

JOB SPECIFICATION: Design consultation and interior decoration.

BRIEF: To create an ultra chic but cosy living room doused in old Hollywood glamour.

EXECUTION: This minimalist living space was given a makeover of Great Gatsby proportions with the addition of bespoke gold splashed wallpaper on two feature walls matched by a gold feature fireplace and a vintage chrome marine floor lamp befitting of a classic film set.

Silk roman blinds provided the perfect combination of glitz and practicality for a living room designed to be a showpiece by day and a comfortable family space by evening. This, matched by a chic leather corner sofa adorned in cream and gold textured scatter cushions and a faux-fur throw, ensured that this transformed living room space now oozes sexy, old Hollywood glam.

Is your hallway small? A quick tip; the key to a brighter space is to enhance as much of the room’s natural light as possible, and one easy way to do this is with light-reflecting paint colours.

Painting your walls in bright, crisp hues like cream, primrose yellow or brilliant white will trick the eye into thinking the area is brighter and airier than it actually is...

Just completed an exterior job of epic proportions for a client in Hinchley Wood, Surrey!

The brief was to prepare and paint the exterior masonry, guttering, facia, front door and garage door of this huge detached property. I had to work like a trojan, fighting the torrential rain, but managed to produce a nice, clean exterior finish fit for the summer months ahead - another happy customer!
