New arrivals - these vintage Hungarian stair runners have been woven in bold geometric patterns. I rarely get long lengths that are in such great condition, so I thought I would see if anyone would be interested in them to use as stair runners. Or they could be used to upholster banquette style seating. The length of each runner should be enough for 12 to 14 steps. It is also suitable for floor runners and upholstery.

Each roll is 9.5 metres long.

Well that went well. Thank you so much to everyone who came and said hello yesterday at the Summer Fair at the in Chelsea. It’s always lovely to put a face to a name and for you to actually see and feel the textiles that I sell. Thank you also for all your purchases and for the company of my friendly fellow stallholders. It was a long day and our feet were definitely aching by the end, but when there is such a great atmosphere you don’t really mind.

A rare find - a full set of 12 antique French linen damask napkins - in a lovely cream colour. I think the initials are VL, but they often a little hard to decipher. In excellent unused condition, they would make a wonderful wedding gift or keep them to use on special occasions.
