Site visits enable us to understand the current interiors, the hues, the fabrics, the materials that make your property your home. A penthouse in Chicago with a view of the interiors that matches a view from the windows. Working closely with , this Sorrells cellar was part of a much larger interior redesign. Modern crittal style framework and impressive double doors lead you through to an interior of natural Oak racking, grand magnum bottle displays and soft lighting. Additional storage has been incorporated throughout, with scallop ridges along the top plinth and acrylic rods integrated into the framework.

The outcome, a space that showcases the wine collection, without taking up vast sqare footage that many a cellar does. A Sorrells cellar not only excels in the quality of the build, but also the quality of the design, ensuring no corner is left empty, yet creating a cellar that doesn't feel cluttered. Chez Rose, by Spencer Metzger. This restaurant houses not only incredible dishes and wine, but interiors that take you back to a time of class, comfort and detail. There isn’t a corner of this restaurant that hasn’t been meticulously thought through, and the wine storage is the same.

It was a pleasure to create multiple wine storage spaces within the restaurant. A temperature controlled cabinet with metal doors and a mix of timber joinery and metal rod racking provide a secure space for fine wines. Whilst the two wine walls and back display offer additional scallop racking (a favourite amongst restaurants due to its shallow nature) for further storage. The beautiful, yet compact restaurant has utilised every space magnificently, ensuring the wine list shines through softly lit displays.

A desk with better company than most.

This Chicago home office sits with the ideal view! The wine cellar itself is glass-fronted with racking on every side, oak joinery lit from within. The desk was built into the cellar wall rather than dropped into a spare room, creating the ultimate view to keep the motivation strong!

A classic cellar for a grade two listed building. The original beamed ceiling, cast iron column and slate floor were already there, we wanted to preserve and highlight the decades of features rather than covering it, after all, cellars should be full of character. Our work was to build the racking and case storage around these elements, in oak that sits comfortably alongside the existing structure rather than competing with it.

The best cellar conversions do not erase what was already good about the room, but enhance them, adding to the character.

A run of unused hallway space, turned into a working cellar.

This oak wine room in Essex was built into a stretch of hallway that would otherwise have gone unused, running the full length of the space with glazed doors that let the collection be seen without ever leaving the room exposed. Full-height racking, a raised bottle display niche, and pull-out drawer storage sit behind glass, with warm LED lighting tracing the base and top of every run. The oak carries a natural, honey-toned finish that sits comfortably within the home rather than announcing itself.

This private residential wine room sits behind full-height glazing, dark stained oak framing every angle of the room from the moment you walk past it. Angled and vertical racking work together to keep the collection visible without ever feeling exposed. The glass brings the cellar into the everyday spaces of the home rather than keeping it separate.
