Our second day in Porto with Society was a real celebration of craftsmanship, creativity and the people behind it all.
We had the chance to meet talented artisans and learn more about the incredible techniques and processes that bring their work to life. There’s something so special about seeing the level of skill, patience and knowledge that goes into each piece. We even had the opportunity to try our hand at some of the hammering techniques ourselves. We may have left with a few samples, but more importantly, we left with a whole new appreciation for the craft.

To finish the experience, we enjoyed a beautiful dinner at overlooking the stunning Douro River. The interiors were every bit as impressive, with luxurious details that complemented the character and architecture of the house beautifully.

A day filled with inspiration, craftsmanship and plenty of memorable moments. ✨

Some spaces are too good to keep to ourselves!

A suite where the rock itself becomes part of the room, not just the backdrop to it. Six interior designers sharing one building, each given a floor to make entirely their own. A hillside resort you can only reach one way and that journey becomes part of the stay before you’ve even arrived.

Recap of Day 1 in Porto!
We started off our two-day visit to and getting a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible craftsmanship that goes into their brands.
Visiting and seeing how their iconic hardware is made was insightful. It was fascinating to learn that many of their handles actually begin with nature itself, using real leaves, branches, bark and other natural elements as moulds before transforming them into beautifully handcrafted pieces.
It’s amazing to see how something found in nature can become such a striking design detail, and it definitely gave us a whole new appreciation for the artistry behind every piece. ✨
