These red paintings were created during a time when my inner world was louder than my language. I was learning Reiki, opening intuitive channels, and wrestling with fear and anxiety I didn’t yet understand. The symbols, animals, and abstract forms became a private alphabet , way for my subconscious to speak before I knew how to listen. Looking back, I see these works as psychological self‑portraits: raw, instinctive, and full of the energy of transformation

Sometimes trauma doesn’t scream ,it reshapes you quietly.
I didn’t realise mine was living in my body until my reflection stopped matching reality.
Healing starts when you finally see yourself with your own eyes, not your past’s.
SelfAwareness YouAreEnough

Art isn’t a technique. It’s a release.
When we let go of “doing it right,” something shifts.
When there’s no instruction, no expected outcome, no pressure to perform, the mind finally exhales.
In the wellbeing session of the Hug Forum from Mind in Harrow charity, every participant created a free‑form Mandala piece using whatever materials were called to them. No rules. No templates. No “shoulds.”
Just emotion, intuition, and the quiet courage to follow an inner thread.
And what emerged wasn’t just artwork.
It was connection ,to self, to sensation, to something a little mysterious and deeply human.
Art doesn’t ask for perfection.
It asks for presence.
It asks for honesty.
It asks for you.
Sometimes the most healing thing we can do is let our hands move before our mind tries to explain.

Weekly creative expressive art Classess. Living a creative life is so important. When children are given room to explore without pressure, something magical happens, they grow braver, calmer, and more connected to themselves.

Emotion, the body holds the story for us.

In these art pieces I explored the heart as both fragile and resilient. The butterflies represent emotions that come and go ,some light, some heavy, some difficult to name.

When we push feelings away, they don’t disappear. They often show up in the body:a tight chest, a flutter in the stomach, heavy shoulders, shallow breath.

Art can help us slow down and notice.

If you pause for a moment ,what is your body holding today?

It’s rare for someone to book a workshop not to create a masterpiece, but to explore what’s living inside them.
Every so often, someone walks into the studio with no intention of producing a perfect piece ,only the desire to explore an idea, a colour, an emotion that’s been quietly waiting to be seen. Those are the moments that remind me why this work matters.
One of the most memorable sessions was with Alison Jackson — the British BAFTA‑winning artist, photographer, and filmmaker known for her fearless exploration of celebrity culture. Despite her global recognition, she arrived with the humility and curiosity of someone who simply wanted to play with ideas. No pressure. No final image in mind. Just the joy of experimenting, questioning, and letting the unexpected surface.
It’s rare for people to book a workshop purely to explore their inner world through a medium, to see what their thoughts and emotions might look like once they take shape outside the mind. But when they do, something powerful happens.
Sometimes we create exactly what we imagined.
Sometimes something entirely new appears ,something we didn’t even know we were carrying.
That’s the real magic.
Not the perfect artwork.
But the moment of recognition: “Ah… this is what I’ve been holding.”
