The moulded top centred by a sunburst with a burr walnut centre and inlaid with various timbers radiating outwards. The front with three long drawers with brass handles surrounded by chevron holly veneers and burr elm panels above a shaped apron and scrolled feet. The sides with inlaid panels.

Dating from the 1950s, its ebonised frame is accented with delicate gilt detailing across the arms, legs and rails, while the caned back and sides bring a wonderful lightness to the design.
