Italian Spherical Pendant Light

A highly unusual Italian pendant light dating from the 1950s/60s, with a substantial spherical form, polished brass detailing and an extensive arrangement of faceted Aurora Borealis crystals.

The cream lacquered metal shade is encircled by a polished brass ring, set slightly away from the surface to create a distinctive celestial, almost planetary appearance reminiscent of Saturn.

Pair of 1950s Stools in Icelandic Sheepskin
A pair of original 1950s wooden stools, professionally re-upholstered from top to toe in luxurious natural Icelandic sheepskin.

Strongly constructed and in excellent original condition, the stools have been completely transformed with their new upholstery, creating a wonderful contrast between the robust simplicity of their midcentury design and the softness of the natural sheepskin.

Their generous, sculptural shape gives them a strong presence, while the beautiful natural fleece adds warmth, texture and a touch of understated extravagance.

A distinctive pair with plenty of character, equally at home as occasional seating in a living room, bedroom or simply placed wherever a little extra warmth, texture and personality are needed. They are original 1950s stools, just wearing a rather fabulous new coat.

Please note: the colour, texture and natural variations of the sheepskin will differ slightly, making each piece unique.

A further pair of original 1950s stools is available separately and can be professionally upholstered to match, offering the option of creating a set of four.

Arc Telescopic Floor Lamp with Carrara Marble Base
A beautiful 1970s Italian Space Age floor lamp with an elegant sweeping chrome arc, white Carrara marble base and large milky white Perspex shade.

The telescopic stem allows the shade to be adjusted from 104cm to 172cm in horizontal reach, with a maximum height of approximately 178cm.

The combination of polished chrome, white marble and softly diffusing Perspex gives the lamp a wonderfully futuristic quality, while its generous proportions make it particularly striking beside a sofa, lounge chair or dining table.

A Danish Modern Stool and occasional nest table set manufactured by Vildbjerg Møbelfabrik ApS. Denmark, 1970s

A set of 3 pieces: an upholstered stool and 2 graduated occasional tables. They have been designed to nest together to form a compact unit, while the individual pieces can be separated and used independently. The construction allows them to be assembled and disassembled, demonstrating a practical and carefully engineered approach to space saving furniture design.
Constructed in teak, the set features a strong geometric frame, precise joinery and carefully considered proportions. The larger piece is fitted with a fixed cognac leather upholstered cushion, while the 2 smaller pieces retain their exposed teak surfaces.
The underside bears the original manufacturer's stamp.

Brass Candle Holders
A striking pair of sculptural brass candle holders defined by their architectural tripod construction and strong sense of structural balance. Each piece is composed of three integrated elements: a solid cast base forming sweeping arched supports, a circular drip plate and a cylindrical candle socket above.
The design is characterised by its open structural form, where curved supports create pronounced negative space beneath the central axis. This interplay between mass and void gives the objects a distinctly architectural presence, emphasising proportion, stability and vertical rhythm rather than ornament.
Executed in heavy brass with carefully resolved joins and refined surfaces, the pieces reflect a high level of craftsmanship and deliberate construction.
