Whenever there is a book about Black British history it’s always followed by the words untold or hidden.

Too many of the figures of Black British history are exactly that, unknown and hidden from mainstream history and culture. Join us. We here share an engaging and intimate evening where book influencer, children’s author and Black British history enthusiast will talk about some of her favourite ‘hidden’ figures from Black British history from Roman Britain to the Victorian circus. The session will look at why understanding Black History is so important in understanding British Hiatory and the critically important role that fiction has in highlighting these stories.

This weekend on Market Row in Brixton there will be not 1 but 5 amazing Black Owned brands launching their new spaces on Market Row Brixton this weekend.

I can’t tell you how amazing it is to see this happen. Brixton is the home for of Black culture, diversity and London Life and we are stepping up the game and redefining what Black business looks like.

There will be 5 amazing brands launching on The Row this weekend as part of the

We launched our SOLO SHOW at last night, with over 120 of our family and friends present to celebrate with us. It was amazing and we are forever grateful for the blessings we receive everyday. Thankyou to everyone’s which came out to support us last night and to for putting such a great show, it was perfect.

March was a month of amazing events for us here at Chinakwe, one of the first was our evening with the wonderful and her team presenting an evening of “Art & Smiles”. Who thought you could host an exhibition at a Dental Spa, but we did!

We teamed up with our long term friend and collaborator and to bring the flavours of Nigeria into the mix, with topping up the bubbles throughout the night. It’s moments like these and the opportunity to connect with amazing people that make it all worth it. Thank you for having us Flora 🙏🏾❤️💪🏾
