BATH CITY. A GEORGIAN VILLA. HANAMI:
Horizontal lines set the rhythm of the room - the disclipine at the heart of Hanami’s design. Designed, so that each horizontal line forms the handle.
Function and form resolved as one continuous gesture.
Fossilized Oak grounds the composition, its grain varied by time. Calacatta white marble answers it is cool, veined contrast, catching light from the skylights above. Tall cabinets in Fenix Oro - matte, soft to the touch, chosen to hold the golden hues of Bath stone rather than compete with it.
The kitchen and house in quiet calm harmony.
A separate drinks area sits apart from the main kitchen, w**e coolers, a coffee station and w**e dispensers built into their own composition.
Not an afterthought - a room for ritual, given the same material rigour as the kitchen it adjoins.
Proportion, not ornament.
Restraint, not excess.
