Holbrook Park | Listed Building Consent
We have recently received LBC for the reconfiguration and retrofit of a 2 bedroom flat within the Grade II listed, Holbrook Park Estate in Horsham. The proposals seek to upgrade and insulate the fabric of the property to meet thermal, acoustic and fire regulations as well as simplifying and maximising the interiors. Breathable insulation, heating via ASHP and new heritage double glazing have all been incorporated to improve efficiency and comfort. Additional detail was provided to the council, ensuring that all consent conditions were met within the original submission allowing works to progress quickly on site. Putney Extension | We have been working with on the refurbishment and extension of a large detached house in Putney. The existing property was extended in the early 1990’s having originally been built in the 1950’s. The interiors are dated and dark with little openness to the garden; the internal arrangement and decor not congruous with the subtle mid-century form and detailing of the exterior. The proposals seek to raise the ridge and extend into to the loft adding two family bedrooms. We are also reconfiguring the ground & first floors to maximise the aspect and outlook of the existing accommodation. The ground floor extension is imagined as a garden room, a timber pavilion, anchored by a feature chimney, acting as a transitional space to the garden beyond framing views of mature trees; open yet snug. Insulation and services will be extensively upgraded to provide a comfortable and efficient family home, reinvigorating the property.
