📍 We’re Hiring: Workshop & Logistics Supervisor (4-5 Days)
We’re looking for a thoroughly organised, proactive and approachable person to join our workshop team at Here East in East London as our new Workshop & Logistics Supervisor.
This role is the central hub of our workshop. You’ll be the key link connecting our finished designs to our customers' front doors - keeping production flowing smoothly, leading our friendly workshop team, and ensuring every order leaves the door looking top-notch.
📝 What you’ll be doing
> Keeping the Floor Flowing: Translating weekly schedules into clear daily priorities for our tight-knit workshop team so orders move smoothly from CNC cutting through to finishing.
> Quality Assurance: Inspecting finished doors, drawers, and worktops before they’re packed - making sure finishes and dimensions match our uncompromising quality standards.
> Packing & Logistics: Overseeing robust and concise order packing and booking daily couriers to get customer orders delivered safely and on time.
> Stock & Material Tracking: Keeping an eye on our core stock, supplier lead times and workshop consumables to ensure smooth order journeys.
> Team & Customer Bridge: Acting as the go-to person for our Quote Team for schedule updates and product-specific customer queries while keeping our schedule updated with capacity data.
💡 What we’re looking for
> Candidates must be organised, communicative, and quality-focused with a keen eye for detail.
> You should be tech-savvy with good computer literacy, and have a solid understanding of woodworking, joinery, or small-batch manufacturing operations.
> You should be a natural problem solver who leads by enabling others—someone who takes genuine pride in high-quality design, loves keeping things tidy and running like clockwork, and thrives in a supportive team environment.
