Grate Fires Ltd was chosen to install Furanflex linings in nine chimneys at a historic tourist attraction located in Spitalfields, London.
Their work involved conducting CCTV surveys, coordinating the project with museum staff and builders, and collaborating with the Historic Buildings Trust to complete the project for the grand reopening.

Many jobs require methodical planning and this is exactly what we did here in this listed property .
Bringing this fire 🔥 back to life in this once a Royal household was as much a pleasure to us ,as it was to the new homeowner .
Carried out CCTV survey , ordered goods and installed Furanflex RWV liner with a bespoke made stainless steel gather .

Loving our recently completed project in Muswell Hill, North London. This project involved installing 3 FuranFlex Chimney Liners along with 3 stunning Marble Fireplaces to compliment this period property.

This weeks completed installation of these 2 stunning marble fireplaces from the Soane collection at .
This chimney piece was originally commissioned for a property in Grosvenor Square , London in 1803 .

From cctv Survey’s , chimney lining in and stainless steel these chimneys are now safe to use for many years to come .

Last weeks completed project in Muswell Hill , London .
Images show the 2 Ladbrokes in Statuary marble typical of the 1850-1870 manner of the Victorian age with the Britton arch register grate.
We also have the traditional Classic Victorian fireplace in limestone with Britton Arch grate and a free standing Shoreditch Mutifuel stove burning away nicely .
From Cctv surveys on chimneys , FuranFlex and stainless steel lining and installation of the fireplaces . Project managing the whole process ensuring that all went smoothly together with other trades.

This weeks stove installation with a limestone fire surround with Riven black slate hearths and slips.
🔥🔥 Danger Alert🔥🔥
To the untrained and inexperienced individual , this fire opening looks like it’s a perfect set up for a stove . There was lengths of wood and plywood behind the plasterboard chamber which would have ignited and caused a house fire .
All combustibles were removed ,remedial work carried out , made safe and prepared for the installation.
A Warning to all who are thinking of having a stove installed !!! Use a HETAS registered company and engineer to carry out your stove installations.
