Merry Figmas and Happy New Year.

A small pause before a new chapter begins.
The studio will be closed until 5 January, taking time to reset, reflect, and look ahead.

Thank you for being part of our year. We look forward to reconnecting very soon!

conscious luxury

Creating a beautiful home and making responsible choices aren’t mutually exclusive. In fact, a truly luxurious space is one that feels as good as it looks. Design with intention, where every material choice is a statement of style and sustainability.

Swipe to see some of our favourite sustainable choices for a home that feels both high-end and eco-conscious.

Our Christmas Wish List

Rethink festive interiors with simple ideas that blend beauty, practicality, and a touch of magic.

1. Try an Unexpected Colour
Step away from red and green. A single bold tone, think tangerine or deep plum, instantly refreshes your tree and lifts a neutral scheme. Keep the rest of the palette calm with natural greenery and metallic accents so the colour feels curated, not chaotic. The leopard-print skirt adds just the right dash of playful flair.

2. Party in the Back
Tie small wreaths to the backs of dining chairs with velvet ribbon or twine, greenery at eye level that also doubles as a place marker. For extra charm, add rosemary or eucalyptus sprigs for scent and texture.

3. Beyond the Mantel
Garlands frame and elevate any corner of the room. Drape them over cabinets, mirrors, or bookshelves to add softness, depth, and a quiet sense of celebration. Mix fresh foliage with a few faux branches to keep them lush through the season.

4. Make It Mini
Short on space or budget? Craft a sculptural tree from thrifted book pages or vintage music sheets, wrap with fairy lights, and top with a simple star. Compact, creative, and full of personality, perfect for apartments or small nooks.

Holiday styling is most beautiful when it feels personal, layered, and considered, a balance of warmth, creativity, and a touch of magic.

the hidden budget killers

Renovations rarely go over budget because of the headline items. The quiet add-ons build up in the background and catch you off guard. Small details you assumed were covered (or never thought to price) can add thousands once work begins. That’s when compromises creep in or unexpected invoices arrive.

At Fig, we plan for the costs most people miss so the final spend matches the vision, not the surprises.

Curious which items you're most likely forgetting? Press play and find out.

interior design nightmares

You survived Part 1…
but the horrors aren’t over yet.

Enter the Carpeted Bathroom of Doom,
the Exposed Plumbing Poltergeist,
and the Light Switches from Hell.

These renovation nightmares lurk in plain sight,
reminders that poor planning leaves a lasting mark.

At Fig, we believe even the scariest spaces can be saved
with thoughtful design and a little magic.

Watch… if you dare.

interior design nightmares

This Halloween, we’re not afraid of ghosts and ghouls…
it’s bad interiors that haunt us.

Meet the Wires of Terror,
the Ghost of Terrible Lighting,
and the Cemetery of Millennial Grey.

They creep into homes quietly,
but once you see them, you can’t unsee them.

At Fig, we believe design should delight, not fright.
Because your home deserves more treats than tricks.

Watch… if you dare.
