It’s our pleasure to introduce Chris and Serene, who have recently joined the team as Part II Architectural Assistants! 👋

Chris is currently working towards his professional qualification, having studied at Kingston University and the University of Westminster. He has experience across both architectural practice and client-side residential development, working on projects from early design through to technical delivery. Chris is interested in architecture’s ability to shape everyday life and wellbeing, with a focus on urban context and sustainability. He is also a published author on post-war housing.

Serene joins us following her studies at Oxford Brookes University and brings experience delivering fit-out and retail projects across the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Serene has a strong interest in conservation and heritage, particularly in how architectural traditions can be thoughtfully continued through sensitive design interventions.

We are currently looking for creative, motivated and highly organised Architects and Part 2 Architectural Assistants to join our London studio.

We’re looking for candidates with experience working in a practice, who are confident working across projects of varying scales and all RIBA stages. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, and we are seeking a talented Architect or Part 2 Architectural Assistant who is enthusiastic about contributing to a diverse portfolio of work.

We spent a beautiful sunny Friday at Haynes Park last week, where plenty of exciting progress has been made on site. The Wilderness Garden is beginning to take shape alongside the emerging 25,000-seat assembly dome, with four of the six ‘skirt’ plantroom pits already underway.

Another great progress update on site at Haynes Park 🔨
 
The pad and strip foundations are progressing well, marking a key milestone for the project. Next up is the start of the 530m ring beam, which will play a critical role in restraining the 162m clear-span dome roof - an exciting stage as the structure really begins to take shape.

The first phase will deliver more than 100+ MW of capacity to support AI and high-performance computing, forming part of a larger wind-powered campus. With an expansion roadmap supporting more than 300 MW of total CIT capacity, Kati 2 combines renewable energy with flexible infrastructure to support evolving digital and AI technologies.

We’re delighted to share that PLANT has been shortlisted for the 2026 RIBA South Awards 🎉
 
A heritage-led retrofit of the Grade II listed former Mountbatten House, Plant focuses on the repair, refurbishment and regeneration of one of Britain’s most important modern listed buildings. Together with , we worked closely with the client to refine and deliver the planning and listed building consented RIBA Stage 3 design by and .
 
All shortlisted projects will now be visited by a regional jury, with winners announced later this spring. We’re incredibly proud to see PLANT recognised at this stage and would like to say a big congratulations to the whole team!

Happy 1st Birthday to Escapade Silverstone! 🎂

It’s hard to believe it’s been a whole year since first opened its doors! Seeing our vision come to life, and watching it thrive in its first year, has been a proud moment for our team.

Bespoke to its setting, the development sits on a 14-acre site along some of Silverstone’s most exhilarating corners, Copse, Maggots and Becketts, offering guests an immersive connection to the track. Designed as a luxury living experience with a front-row seat to the action, the masterplan brings together 60 high-spec residences and a clubhouse, each carefully positioned to maximise views and elevate the experience for passionate motorsport fans from around the world.
