Two cultures. One celebration. One very generous buffet.

Irene & Robert’s English and Nigerian wedding brought everyone together around a menu filled with Nigerian favourites, comforting classics, and plenty to go around.

From Jollof and Fried Rice to Yam Porridge, Garnished Fish, Moi Moi, Plantain, and more, this was a buffet made to enjoy

And yes… we finished with Puff Puff

This is what we mean by The Stories We Serve.

Food carries history. It carries family recipes, traditions, migration, memories, and the flavours we grew up with.

With 230 boxed meals, generous sides and a little something sweet to finish, for this corporate lunch, we brought some of those stories to Brookfield through a menu inspired by Africa and the Caribbean.

Jollof. Jerk chicken. Brown stew fish. Egusi and pounded yam. Plantain. African salad. Puff puff and chin chin.

This Black History Month, we’re celebrating the cultures and culinary traditions that continue to inspire Mel’s Meals.
