Summer is always a little quieter for a small flower shop. People go away, routines slow down, and from a business point of view, it’s never our busiest time.
But every season brings its own kind of beauty.

It gives me time to chat a little longer with my customers. To watch children proudly decorate bouquets with our branded stickers. To enjoy a coffee sitting on the doorstep of the shop, feeling the warm breeze. To rescue the little bees and butterflies that accidentally find their way inside. To stop for a cuddle with every passing dog. To catch up with the lovely neighbouring businesses that make this little community feel like home.

And sometimes... it means closing a little earlier and taking my son for ice cream at our favourite local spot.
Summer has its own rhythm. I could spend it worrying about the quieter business days, or I can choose to notice all these little moments that make this job so special.
