We said NO (because we’re very strict.)
But we are now saying YES because we’re nothing but flibbertigibbets and are re-issuing a few of our old designs. So now you’ve got something to put your grog in 🏴‍☠️

Did you know?
During the reign of James II, however warm it was outside, from August 27th families ate quantities of hot soup every day which induced profuse sweating so that by the time cooler weather arrived in the Autumn everyone was relieved rather than sad.
Soup consumption continued throughout the winter and during December and January it was put into hot water bottles so that the good folk of Albion could enjoy a snack if they woke up hungry in the night.

We’re approaching such an age that living in a bungalow is looking more and more appealing. However, our signature move is to greet guests from the top of the staircase, back-lit and wearing a marabou-trimmed negligee and kitten-heeled mules. We may have to think of some suitably riveting single-story adaptation.
The bungalows of our dreams are depicted on this lampshade, and if you were to buy one you too could imagine a relaxed retirement in such a delightful dwelling.

This was going to be a light-hearted post about the flowers I’d manage to rescue from my battered and scorched garden. But then I saw footage of a café at the port of Gaza city which had been targeted by yet another indiscriminate airstrike by Israeli forces. The bodies of the slaughtered humans wrapped. Rescuers retrieving a limb and putting it with the bodies. A small boy, lifeless and covered in blood. Families horribly wounded.
Then I saw “settlers” terrorising Palestinians in their homes the West Bank. Destroying their village, pulling stones from the walls and using them to block the road, while the Israeli forces stood by.
