When it comes to wood floor renovation, sanding and refinishing is by far the best and the most efficient option.

It’s incredibly how often I come across people thinking their floors need to be ripped up and replaced just because the wood surface is badly worn. When in fact all thats needed is a good sand.

Providing there’s enough wear layer to allow for sanding, and the wood itself isn’t rotten or moulded or badly stained , it is perfectly fine for the floors to be sanded and refinished.

Naturally, there are cases where the floors can no longer be saved, due to the various different reasons… But that’s why we are here to assess the condition of the floor beforehand and determine if the floor can be sanded and restored…

When it comes to wood floor sanding we use a range of professional equipment, and so the machine used for the specific project depends on the type of floor we are dealing with.

Here we have a planetary sander called Bona Flexi- Sand that’s doing the job beautifully… (for body only that is, but for the edges and corners we use other machines).

With years of experience sanding every kind of wood floor we deliver fast and most efficient results.

If a picture can paint a thousand words then this previously butchered floor can certainly tell a story! You see, just one cut on a belt sander and splash of oil will never deliver professional finish, finish you can be proud of.
Unfortunately there’s so many floors that we come across in this state, machine lines all over the floor. Looks as though someone had used an angle grinder to sand a floor. Just awful.

We use a range of equipment and sanding sequence to achieve that smooth, flat, floor surface.
