We go to great lengths to find the best possible ingredients. It's been a lifelong obsession and without our amazing suppliers we just would not be able to produce the food we love to share with our customers. We don't always go to great lengths to coordinate our clothes with the food but yesterday we all had a good laugh in the kitchen with this combo! .

This is probably my favourite 'start me up' breakfast! Egg fried rice. So simple and utterly delicious and very cheap to make!
Ingredients
Cooked chilled rice (leftovers or make night before)
Eggs
Shallots
Ginger
Garlic
Red chilli
Diced ham/Lardons/Bacon or diced chicken
whatever floats your boat
Frozen peas
Carrot
Soy sauce
Sugar
Sesame oil
Method
Prepare all ingredients by slicing or dicing or making little baton matchsticks with ginger and carrot. See photos
Heat oil in wok and add whisked eggs (I used 3 here) stir fry egg until you have a fried chopped up omelette and remove and set aside side (stir this back in at the end)
Add a bit more oil and when hot add shallots, stir a bit then add garlic and ginger, stir a bit more and when these soften but before they start to turn brown add the chilli, carrots, meat and peas. Stir fry a bit more then add 3 or 4 tablespoons of water to help soften up the carrots. When water has evaporated add the chilled rice stir through and bring rice temperature up to medium to hot. Toss in the egg and add a splash of soy, a small amount of sugar and sesame oil before giving everything a final mix.
I haven't included quantities so you can experiment...and make to your own taste.
