The wonderful Charleston in Sussex, home of the Bloomsbury Group, has always been a great source of creative inspiration, so it was such a privilege and pleasure to be invited by the lovely Molly Mahon to a magical morning here this week.

A small group of us enjoyed a gorgeous brunch around a beautifully set table showcasing Molly's range of runners and napkins for Charleston, and we were given a very special private tour of this most fascinating house. Vases overflowed with tulips and convivial conversation flowed at this most memorable gathering. Thank you so much , it was a day to cherish and remember!

It's one month until Christmas Day! As the festive season nears, we're revisiting a country house project we completed, just in time for our lovely clients to enjoy Christmas. A bespoke green velvet sofa, trimmed in cheery red, sets the scene, and bright curtains continue the celebration of colour. A country sanctuary! Our client enjoys weekends entertaining friends and family, so creating inviting and welcoming guest rooms was a priority. Here, warm textured walls, layered linens and a fabulous rug work beautifully with the deep nut brown of the aged floorboards.
