Surrey Bathroom Renovation | Site Visit

A behind-the-scenes look from a recent site visit.

Site visits are an important element in the work of interior designers. These visits allow us to review progress, coordinate with contractors, resolve details in real time and ensure the design is being carried through as intended. It’s often during these visits that many important decisions are made.

Through our Project Coordination service, we remain involved throughout construction, supporting clients as their project comes to life and helping to ensure the original design vision is realised.

Bathroom Consultation.

For this recent 2-Hour Design Consultation, we helped our client rethink the layout of their Edwardian bathroom, maximise storage and establish a clear design direction.

The brief was to incorporate a walk-in shower, bath, generous vanity and practical storage, all within the existing footprint. The client knew what they wanted the space to achieve but couldn't quite picture how it could work.

Together, we explored a number of layout options, weighing up the advantages and compromises of each before arriving at a solution that felt both practical and balanced. We also developed an initial concept to help the client visualise the character, materials and overall atmosphere of the space.

Spatial Planning Study.

With the addition of a rear extension, this Edinburgh flat was set to be fully reconfigured.

Through our spatial planning service, we explored a number of layout options. Always starting out with our clients needs and how they live, then refining each space by considering flow, proportions, natural light, functionality and day-to-day use.

This process gave the family clarity early on, allowing them to compare options, understand the full potential of their home and make informed decisions before any building work began.

Bespoke Joinery Design.

For our Wandsworth Family home project, we designed a bespoke wardrobe tailored to maximise storage under the eaves while maintaining a calm, considered aesthetic.

As with every project, we explored multiple design options before arriving at the final solution. This process involved close collaboration with both the client and skilled joinery makers, alongside site visits, design development, material selection, and installation coordination.

Every detail was carefully considered — from proportions and internal layout to finishes and craftsmanship — ensuring the final design felt both functional and refined.

Inside — a strength fitness studio in Earlsfield shapee around community and connection.

The layout at was designed with community at its core — an open plan that flows effortlessly and encourages connection as much as training.

The studio spans two floors and both were designed with versatility in mind. Training areas adapt to the studio’s varied classes while remaining ready to host workshops, events, and the conversations that happen over a good coffee.

When you step inside, the reception sets the tone straight away — conceived as a lobby where members socialise, grab a coffee, or let their little ones settle in.

The lower floor brings a slightly more immersive atmosphere, with everyday details integrated throughout — somewhere to hang your coat, pick up your logbook, and store your things before training.

A studio that feels completely at home. 🥰

The material and colour palette at was chosen to feel calm, grounded and quietly uplifting.

Warm off-whites set a soft, welcoming base. Tonal greens and pinks introduce moments of energy and playfulness — green brings depth and confidnece, pink adds softness and a gentle nod to femininity, while black detailing brings structure and definition.

A timber-effect vinyl floor introduces warmth without compromising the practicality a studio needs, and is paired with OSB panels for a raw, textured quality that adds character and a little fun.

Rounded, organic shapes echo the community ethos of the studio, and sheer, flowy curtains bring in something that feels inviting, like your home.    

The result is a studio that feels grounded yet uplifting — a balance of strength and softness, designed to support how it feels to train together.
