As daylight fades, the role of lighting becomes architectural.
For this private London residence, our intent was to ensure the building transitions elegantly into the evening, retaining presence without dominance.
Rather than relying on brightness, the scheme focuses on:
• Contrast and hierarchy
• Controlled highlighting of key features
• Use of Low CCT luminaires
• A warm, inviting internal ambience visible from the street
• Lighting controls that manage brightness and importantly schedules and controls duration of lighting
Lighting should never compete with architecture—it should quietly elevate it.
