HAZE II -

In collaboration with and we were tasked by a long standing client to design the interior and manage some choice exterior refinements to their second motor yacht Haze II. Whilst an experienced owner, the previous yachting lifestyle had been centred around fairer climates, with his standalone travel taking him further afield, he wanted a yacht that could do the same. The client’s aspirations for the interior were for it to allow for flexibility, create intimate areas and those suitable for entertaining and remote working. The look and feel should fit into and be functional within any environment.

A large focus on detailing was desired with a particular emphasis on ceiling details amongst other things in terms of the design structure, a muted palette was to be set off using colour pops and the subtle use of specialist finishes to create moments of surprise in the design scheme. All in all what was essentially required was a functional interior where the interior detailing could be measured against yachts of a much larger size.

Some more shots of our Villa Amalfi project. Here presented are some snapshots into the intricacies of the design; from the creation of multi-faceted spaces, minimal yet highly detailed installations, considered Spa and Wellness functionality to the tirelessly bespoke En-suites, Dressing Room and Artwork commissions.

As a result of our client’s penchant for fashion there are hidden nods and elements of design language woven into the proportions and details of the design scheme throughout the property.

“It was an absolute pleasure to work on our Villa Amalfi project with and an amazing client.

This home needed to provide everything you would expect from a primary residence, but with the ease of a pied-à-terre. It pays homage to the client’s family values, ideals of wellness and a love of fashion. We never like our core themes to shout too loudly as we prefer a more ‘if you know you know,’ approach, but I guarantee they’re everywhere; from rules of fashion design applied to the detailing within the interior architecture and furnishings, to the functionality of wellness being built into the bones of the property. We also have huge thanks to give to all of the local teams that made the ex*****on of this project possible.” - George

We are pleased to present our latest collaborative project, which seamlessly integrates innovative design with elements of fashion, wellness, and contemporary living.

This special collaboration marries Threads Interiors intrinsic knowledge of their close knit client base and Lawson Robb’s expertise in interpreting a brief into a fully integrated and bespoke turnkey project.

Our client envisioned a multifaceted property incorporating a gym and spa, ample storage for her fashion collections, and expansive areas for entertaining, all while maintaining a relaxed, homely atmosphere within the space.
