Fiona Fleur is looking for an experienced, commercially minded florist to join our team full-time at our Battersea studio.
This is a hands-on role for someone who knows flowers inside out, has an excellent eye for contemporary floristry and design, and is confident taking ownership of everything from flower ordering and budgeting through to conditioning and creating beautiful floral designs.
We’re looking for someone who:
— Has extensive professional floristry experience
— Has exceptional knowledge of seasonal flowers, varieties and availability
— Has a strong eye for contemporary floristry, colour and design
— Is highly experienced in creating accurate flower orders from a creative brief
— Is confident working to budgets and understands cost per stem, quantities, wastage and margins
— Is commercially minded and knows how to achieve the creative vision without overspending
— Has established relationships with flower markets, wholesalers and suppliers
— Is confident sourcing and suggesting substitutions when required
— Can accurately calculate quantities for events and installations
— Is experienced in conditioning, preparing and caring for flowers
— Is organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of their area
— Is comfortable with the realities of event floristry, including early flower-market starts and busy event periods
- Organising and managing a team of freelancers and booking florists
We work across luxury events, fashion, brands, weddings and hospitality, so this is an opportunity to work on a varied range of creative floral projects.
