💚♻️We are OPEN again! ♻️💚

After a short summer break to refresh, renew, reset - the shop, workshop and mySelf are full of sparkle and looking forward to sharing some moments with you!

It’s also back to school for our classes this weekend, starting with “Grandma’s Hands” (intro to hand sewing repairs) & Beginners Sewing 1 - there are a couple of places still available if you’re feeling spontaneous!

Recent happy customer! “Good things come to those who wait” edition

This top is PatchReWorked from shirt sleeves. I actually made it last year and is a personal favourite, however for some reason, the piece didn’t sell and find a new home!
Now I know why, because it was made for Anabel who brought it to life on a recent visit.

Recent happy customers! Garment Edition

Slide 1: It was mutual appreciation with these lovely cow people! Holly Holly Spillar loved the PatchReWorked shirt top with boatneck button opening, ribbed waistband and sleeve ties.

Slide 2: “Unity” PatchReWorked sweatshirt going to a good home

Slide 3: Fonzil literally snapped up these Suit sleeve shorts as soon as they went out on the rail - a perfect fit but I did need to make the pocket bags deeper as “he carries everything in his pockets”

Slide 4: PatchReWorked knitwear samples (donated by a customer who worked previously as a buyer for Mulberry and couldn’t bear seeing samples being thrown away) paired with jogging pants sleeves. This cosy item will be appreciated come Autumn/Winter.

As with these beautiful souls, each item I make is a one off, upcycled with joy and care, in house at Fabrications, from would be waste clothing and textiles.

Recent happy customers! Bag edition!

Slide 1: Joe Joe Yonan chose a classic holster style bag, remade from a suit jacket. A gift and practical souvenir for his husband from a London trip. Thank You for all your compliments and beautiful presence.

Slide 2: Magda was drawn to the turquoise stitch texture of this reused piece of furnishing sample. The rest of the bag is patchworked stitch samples from my sewing classes. The handles are vintage ties. Thank You for recognising that this bag was made for you!

Slide 3: Krysztof loved the PatchReWorked suiting holster. Thank You for kindly gifted me some of your own artwork - spirits of nature affirmation / message cards, which I’ve been re distributing as suggested!

Slide 4: A giant holster PatchReWorked cross body bag with suit waist band strap was selected by SH LEE - Thank You for recognising a handy “keep safe” item accessory that will come in handy during DJ sets and travelling!

Much like each soul that is drawn to my work, each piece is one off, upcycled from would be waste garments, textiles and studio offcuts, made with joy and care in house at Fabrications.

SEW! Grateful to all the beautiful souls that have joined my sewing classes this year. It’s such a privilege to pass on skills and knowledges and to witness confidence growing, enthusiasm, and creative learning (for both students and myself as the teacher)

Whilst I’ve been teaching for some time, my 3 evening x beginners sewing course (pictured in these slides) came about during Covid times as I had to get creative myself with generating income during a time of restriction and uncertainty (which in truth is the nature of existence but a pandemic is a salient reminder)
The 3 evening beginners sewing course is now one of the most popular on Fabrications calendar! With a full house every month! Thank You 🙏

I am taking a break from teaching in August to rest and renew, work on some commissions and visit family. But….

Thank You Sophie .co and our attendees for getting our summer school programme started with such creativity and resourcefulness!
Our ‘Re Imaginerium’ studio was buzzing for Sophie’s curtain/hanging making from reclaimed sheer samples.
What motivated Sophie to offer this workshop?

“Yodomo’s first circular hub was at We took in a lot of sample waste from the interior design showrooms down the road in Clerkenwell and we were initially stumped with what to do with the small sheer samples. One of the local makers shared her experience of using Korean patchwork techniques for ‘bojagi’, so we looked into this technique for reusing sheer samples to create panels. The results are great and these small pieces are perfect for this craft.”

One of our other guest tutors .latour was also participating! Selina will be offering her “Visible mending using hand embroidery “ & “Clothing repairs surgery” classes on Sunday 26th July alongside some freestyle & classes with on Saturday 18th July.

And by popular demand we have another date set up with Bojagi making .co on Sunday 2nd August (only a couple of places left!)

“Embelishmemds” - celebrate and enhance your clothes signs of wear n tear with hand stitching and embroidery.

We are delighted to have been invited to host the “Mending Station” at this Saturday’s (27th June) first London organised by

Bring along a well loved/used item (jeans, shirts, skirts with woven “stable” fabric) with rips, holes, stains, missing buttons, indeed of some TLC. The wonderful .latour will be on hand to support, guide and draw out your creativity and resourcefulness. Beginner Friendly.

Selina is also offering a longer/deeper session “Visible Mending using hand embroidery” as part of Fabrications “Summer School” programme in July.

Both activities are inspired by our beloved Kate Sekules book “Mend - a Refashioners manual and manifesto” (also stocked at Fabrications)
