Prior Products is a family run business that has been established since 1988 and holds an enviable reputation for quality and service. At the forefront of the PVC industry, Prior Products are BFRC approved installers who also manufacture their own BFRC rated products in a purpose built

factory at Long Marston just south of Stratford upon Avon. Installations are carried out by Prior Products own fitting teams who are highly trained and skilled craftsmen, they are also members of the Planitherm Installers Organisation (recognising quality, security and window and door regulations). The sales team at Prior Products have worked hard throughout the current trying economic times and have successfully increased sales by expanding their geographical area. Prior Products can now be found working throughout Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and the West Midlands, a high proportion of their sales come from existing customers requiring more work and from recommendations from many other satisfied customers. To cope with the increase in demand Prior Products have expanded their sales, fabrication and installation teams. Manufacturing capabilities have been extended by investment in ‘state of the art’ CNC machinery that works via infra-red lasers, they now have an increased output capacity with a better finished product. It's over 28 years Prior Products has constantly strived to supply the most up-to-date quality products available and with their varied range of products they can also offer timber and aluminium frames as well as their own PVC products. The most recent additions to Prior Products product line is their exciting Colour Grained Windows and their Triple ‘A’ Window all available in many colour grained options which gives a convincing traditional finish to their PVCu range. A Stunning Sunroom Transformation in Blockley near Moreton in Marsh.

Some window replacements are subtle. This certainly isn't one of them.

The original windows had become tired and dated, with weathered frames that no longer complemented this beautiful Cotswold stone property. While the sunroom remained a fantastic space overlooking the garden, the windows were ready for a new lease of life.

Manufactured in our own factory in Stratford-upon-Avon, the new uPVC Flush Casement windows have completely transformed the room's appearance. The anthracite grey finish works beautifully alongside the honey-coloured stone, creating a more contemporary look while still respecting the character of the property.

This conservatory refurbishment was completed on the existing base, saving disruption while completely transforming the appearance and performance of the room.

The original conservatory had dated brown frames and an ageing roof that had reached the end of its life. By replacing the windows, doors and roof structure, we've created a fresh, modern space that feels brighter, cleaner and far more inviting.

For this project, the customer chose a new polycarbonate roof. While tiled conservatory roofs are a popular choice, they aren't always the right solution for every home. A polycarbonate roof allows plenty of natural light into both the conservatory and the adjoining room, helping to maintain that bright, airy feel that many people love about conservatories.

When we describe our flush casement windows as "timber-like", we're probably doing them a disservice. While timber offers good looks and authentic styling, flush casement windows offer that and so much more.

The cream windows in the first photo are the original timber frames. The pearl grey windows in the second photo are modern flush uPVC replacements. Side by side, the character of the property has been carefully preserved while gaining all the benefits of modern glazing.

Flush casement windows sit neatly within the frame, just as traditional timber windows have done for centuries. Combined with authentic styling, heritage colours and decorative bars, they are often the ideal choice for period homes, cottages and character properties where appearance matters as much as performance.

Were patio doors ever more appreciated than this last week?

There's something magical about waking up on a warm morning and sliding the doors wide open before you've even made your first cup of tea.

The garden just becomes part of the room. The air moves through the house. The light comes in at that low, golden angle, which it only manages in the early hours. For a few quiet minutes, everything feels exactly right.

👀Conservatory Refurbishment on Existing Base

A conservatory that you don't enjoy can really change how you feel about your home. If you're using it as a dumping ground, it's one of those things you close the door on until the chore of clearing it out for the summer comes round again, but it's silently nagging you constantly.

In this case, the existing base was retained while the old uPVC roof, windows and doors were replaced with a new glass roof system and fresh white frames throughout. The result is a brighter, more open space that feels connected to the garden again.

Over the last few years, most of our customers have chosen solid tiled conservatory roofs to create more of a year-round room. They are a great option for comfort and privacy, particularly if the conservatory is used as a lounge, dining room or office.

Glass roofs still have a very important place, though, especially when the aim is to bring in as much natural light as possible. The neighbouring room also benefits, with more daylight flowing back into the house rather than being blocked by a solid structure.

Did you know you can add a bay or bow window to a house?

A bay window can completely change the feel of a room, bringing in more light, creating extra space and opening up wider views of the garden outside.

In many cases, a new bay can be added where there is currently a flat window using a supported sill system with external corbels and a canopy roof. It creates the look and feel of a traditional bay window without major extension work.

Our bow and bay window canopies are constructed from glass-reinforced plastic (GRP). The bow canopy is available in several sizes and colours and is foam-filled for increased insulation as standard. The bow base is available in a variety of sizes and colours, and 2 different types.

When you are thinking of changing your windows, consider a bay or bow as an option. It may transform your space and help your house stand out if you come to sell it.
