I always say my collectors don’t just buy art — they bring a feeling home. And Jay just described it perfectly.

What would it feel like to wake up to the ocean every day? Flow might just be the answer.

Canvas prints, paper prints, and minis available now. Link in bio 🔗

3 Tips for Creating Calm Coastal Interiors (without the clichés)

Want that coastal feeling at home without turning your living room into a beach shack? Here’s what actually works:

1. Choose Depth Over The Literal
Skip the seashell prints. Go for art with ocean colours instead—deep blues, soft aquas, sandy neutrals. Abstract pieces like Rockpool give you all that coastal energy without being obvious about it.

2. Layer Your Blues
One shade of blue = flat. Multiple shades = depth. Mix navy velvet with patterned or pale blue textural cushions, or pair a deep ocean print with multi tonal layers. That’s what creates that “looking into water” feeling.

3. Let Natural Light Do The Work
Coastal vibes need breathing room. Keep walls neutral so your art can be the statement. The light will shift the colours throughout the day—just like being by the sea.

The goal? Walking into a room that feels like an calming exhale, not a seaside gift shop.

What’s your biggest coastal decorating challenge? 💙 Why not drop me a DM, or utilise my free room mock-up service and see how a piece you love, will look in your chosen space 🙂

Flow doesn’t fight the current. She moves with it — deep, wild, and completely free.

This one arrived the way the best things do — unexpectedly, and all at once. No plan, no rules, just paint finding its own way home.

She’s for the ones who are learning to let go. Of the plan. Of the outcome. Of the version of life that was supposed to look different by now.

Flow is an original painting and she’s available now. If she’s calling to you, she’s probably meant for you.

🌊 Bring the Ocean Home 🌊

There’s something about the sea that calls us back to ourselves.

Beneath the Surface (gallery set) was created to capture that feeling—the calming blues, shifting light, and hidden beauty that exist beneath the waves. Displayed as a gallery set, these pieces bring a sense of serenity, movement, and coastal elegance into your home.

Inspired by my own search for calm and escape, each painting is an invitation to pause, breathe, and immerse yourself in a world of colour and light. A reminder of quiet mornings by the coast, endless horizons, and the peace we find when we reconnect with nature.

Imagine waking up to a view like this every day. 💙

✨ A review that means the world…

There’s something incredibly special about knowing a piece of art has been quietly calling to someone for a while before finally finding its way home.

In Motion was inspired by the energy and freedom I find in the sea and sky—the way light, colour, and movement can shift our mood and bring a sense of calm. Created with flowing layers of turquoise, blue, and vibrant lime, this piece captures that feeling of momentum, possibility, and joy.

Thank you, Claire, for your kind words and for giving In Motion a place on your wall. Knowing that a painting has connected with someone deeply enough to become part of their everyday life is the greatest compliment an artist can receive.

There’s a moment that happens when you stand in front of an original painting. Not a print, not a photograph of it — the real thing.

You see the texture first. The way the paint has been worked and reworked, built up in places, scraped back in others. You can see the decisions being made in real time, frozen in the surface. A thick ridge of paint catching the light. A translucent layer where the canvas breathes through. Colour mixed not on a palette but in the moment of application, never quite the same twice.

Then there’s the energy.

Original art carries the emotion of its making.

The concentration, the release, the quiet breakthrough after a period of struggle. That’s not a romantic notion — it’s visible. You can feel the difference between a passage of paint that was found and one that was forced.

A print is beautiful. I love what’s possible with high-quality reproduction. But a print is a record of a painting. The original is the painting.

It lives with the light in your home. It shifts in the morning and again in the afternoon. It becomes part of your walls, your days, your sense of what’s possible. Collectors often tell me they notice something new months, even years, after living with a piece — a depth they hadn’t seen before, a moment of colour they’d somehow missed.

That’s the thing about original art. It doesn’t give everything up at once.

It stays interesting. It stays alive.

Real homes, real walls, real joy — that’s what this is all about. Sarah’s kitchen got a little brighter with Summer Garden, and honestly, this is exactly why I love what I do.

There’s something about seeing a piece settle into someone’s everyday space — not a gallery, not a styled shoot, just a kitchen where mornings happen — that makes it feel real.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Absolutely stunning artwork. The quality exceeded my expectations and it’s transformed my kitchen.” — Sarah Wilson

Thank you, Sarah, for trusting a piece of my world to live in yours.

With love from the coast,

Two paintings. One conversation.

Tidal Light and Rising Current were always meant to live together.

Created as sister prints, they speak the same language — that electric moment when ocean light fractures beneath the surface, when teal meets gold and everything feels alive and moving and impossibly beautiful.

Hung side by side, they do something a single piece can’t.

They expand a room.

They pull the eye across the wall the way the tide pulls across sand — unhurried, inevitable, mesmerising.

This is what I was chasing when I made them: that feeling of standing at the water’s edge and watching the light go wild underneath. The depth of the deep. The flash of gold where the sun finds the current.

In this space — white walls, warm wood, that open coastal light — they’ve found exactly where they belong.

This is what art does when it’s right for a room.

It doesn’t decorate. It anchors.

✨ Sister prints are available together or individually.
📐 Not sure how they’d look in your space? Message me for a free room mockup — I’ll place them in your home before you commit.
