Summer in all its hedgerow glory.

By June the garden is offering so much variety it often becomes the issue ‘what to leave out’ rather than ‘what to include’!

Working with clients to bring texture, colour & led by location often starts to build the foundation of how the day will look and feel.

It was so much fun working with O&S and their family on their beautiful wedding. Marrying in Fowey and then getting to party in probably one of best fields was always going to be pretty special and I’m just so delighted they picked me to help them bring their floral dreams to life.

Thank you and congratulations guys x

The last of the seasonal flowers from the field and what a wedding to go out on!

The most unbelievably kind couple - Lucy & Ollie thank you so much for your trust and allowing the garden to be your colour palette.

Working closely with another Boconnoc Estate supplier Hannah of Fego Food Co. Event Caterer. to blend the food styling and florals seamlessly in the beautiful Garden Room. I was so excited to see it all come together.

Huge thanks to the amazing Boconnoc Estate for keeping me fed & hydrated on another incredible wedding season - these guys work so hard for our couples.
I’ve one more wedding in December to return for but it’s now time to start putting the garden to bed for winter.

Once again congratulations Ollie & Lucy and thank you for my bottle of Camel Valley Vineyard fizz…roll on the weekend 😂🙏

The final weeks of autumn wedding season - this year has been a rollercoaster but still the field belts out some amazing blooms!!

Congratulations B&L on your Weddings at Nancarrow Farm yesterday x

All the autumn tones for this wedding.

With special elements like snow berries

And always some grasses to break up the textures.

Entering the season of big is better!

I always say to my clients this is the time to place all your eggs in one basket. One big arrangement is far more impactful than multiple little ones…unless we are talking meadow bud vases that’s different!

As we head into autumn big urns take a life of their own and let’s embrace the volume.

Plus this stunning entrance table Boconnoc House & Estate can take it!

The last bouquet of August 2026 and it was a real soft romantic one. With lots of little zinnias, cosmos, hydrangea’s, roses and dahlias. For me it’s always the textural elements that bring it together though, the grasses, thlaspi and that hedgerow honeysuckle that survived the drought!

This one made its way to L&K Trevenna a lovely, very laid back couple who were the sweetest to work with. Congratulations guys xx

The last wedding in August and the garden has shifted to autumn with the welcome return to some rain.

On one hand I’m sad, the endless warm days, eating in the garden and sneaking off for swims at mid-day….however, it’s fair to say challenges of climate change on the garden has been anything but stressful. Seeing some crops go over very quickly is heartbreaking but already lots of my garden was planted for climate variations and I’m so pleased to have taken these steps some years ago. Adapting and educating is key!

These beauties headed to today and I can’t wait to share more and the bridal bouquet tomorrow x

Elegant archways Boconnoc Estate

Taking a natural approach to styling a pretty natural church archway is always at the forefront of my mind. Balancing the delicate elements in the arrangement against the granite, stone, slate and lichen. Never allowing one or other to overpower but creating an arrangement that might in fact be growing there naturally by itself!

There is something rather special about cornus season and I was so happy for P&J when it flowered in time for their wedding.

Captured by the wonderful John Hersey John

Congratulations P&J xx
