When the wife doom scrolls before Christmas and she sees personalised painted bottles on TikTok, I'm sent to Tesco and guess what I was then tasked with doing...
On the first bottle I did a classic and traditional look full of Christmas foliage
On the second I tried for a more modern and colourful design with bright, simple images

An order came through in November from a repeat customer for another Melted Wax Crayon piece.
This time for a silhouette of two boys eating ice cream from a photo they sent.
These are really fun to make and I only get slightly scared I'm going to make a complete mess of the kitchen or break Em's hairdryer 😂

I absolutely love painting these XL Lego mini figures even when they're wearing Norwich football kits!
I thought the pattern might have been a bit too much for me at one point but with a bit of trial and error on the Cricut machine, I managed a pretty decent set of templates for the airbrush and I think it turned out well in the end.

It's that time of year again to just sit and relax now that the Christmas madness is dying down and when I realise just how behind I am on my social media updates 😬 Whoops!

I did this bright and colourful Sunflower painting for Em's Head Teacher, to celebrate her new office being completed in time for the new school year (told you I was behind on my updates) in what used to be the old boys toilets!
Em and a few other members of the staff asked me to put some hidden details into the picture... Too subtle??
Glad to say that she absolutely loved it!

Rather than try and post for everything I've been making with my Cricut here's just a few examples of the kinds of things I've done. Birthday cards, drinks bottles and travel mugs, personalised ipad cases and even car window stickers.
I'm still learning what it can do and how to get the best from it but I'm really enjoying experimenting and making new things.

A friend of ours asked me if I could personalise some trainers for her sons birthday. She wanted something different to the typical gifts and also as a keepsake gift for when he is older.
I hand painted scenes from Minecraft as he is obsessed, as well as features from the game. I also had to include the Mojang logo on the back to finish them off.

Back in April I was asked by a friend if I could paint his racing helmet and the only guidance was to "Go for it!"
After playing around for a while with designs and a lot of fancy geometric patterns, stripes and shapes, I thought "If I'm being asked to paint on it, why don't I actually paint something that links to racing"
Finally we settled on scenes from two corners from his favourite race track, The Nurburgring. They were hand painted with a few extra personal touches thrown in!

Our little frog is back where he belongs after some serious TLC...

Poor guy was rusted and broken, missing an eye and all bent out of shape. Sanded back to bare metal, primed, repainted with the airbrush, eyes reattached and finally sprayed with a couple of layers of acrylic gloss varnish and he's good as new!

I've wanted to have a go at window snow spray pictures for a while now so after watching far too many Tik Tok videos, I just went for it this Christmas!!
Not too bad for a first attempt I don't think!
Looking forward to trying out a few more next year (might need to watch some more videos first though!)

Absolutely love a good Lego set so of course I was going to say yes when asked to paint this wooden figure!
Not my chosen kit to paint, but it was a lot of fun and I was really pleased with how he turned out!

Didn't realise how nervous I would be about not sending design ideas over before actually getting on with it, but I'm really pleased they went down so well at Christmas!
Let's hope they bring some good luck and we get automatic promotion this season!
