We’ve sold thousands of our Kumihimo Bracelet Kits, and the messages kept telling us the same thing: people wanted more thread, more looms to make with friends, or a version they could just wrap up and give.

So we built three.

The Kit to get started, Make With Friends for craft nights and group makes, and The Gift Set , the whole experience, ready to give (worth over £94).

Same kit you already love. Now there’s a version for however you want to make it.

Moment MAKE and I’ll send you the link! 🧶

My dream is to create a place online where you feel like your soul is being fed with ideas, and gentle cues to make. Ideas that don’t cost a fortune, promoting a lifestyle that is about creating not consuming. My motivation is to be an antidote to the hours of content that tells you how to be smaller, and to shrink your body and to focus on what you look like rather than what you create. If this sounds like you, then I’m glad you’re here and my goal is to serve you wholesome content that inspires you, not depresses you, that builds you up and doesn’t knock you down. 💛💛💛

We make thousands of these kits and send them all across the world! They are currently stocked in Barnes & Noble (if you see them take a pic for me!) and like most of our kits they are a totally doable weekend type of project.

You get the backing felt to add on once you have done all your stitching and the edges will stay beautifully neat because of this refinished scalloped edge.

You don’t even need a hoop for this project, just start stitching!

To celebrate the arrival of our new Fruity bookmark, you can take 20% off our bookmark collection with the code FRUITY until the end of the week 🍒🍐🍉🍓🍌

A brand new bookmark kit has been added to the collection! Our fruity bookmark is a summery treat, and if you’re a newsletter subscriber, there’s a little offer in your inbox 🍓🍌🍒🍉🍐

Our bookmark kits are beautifully packaged and contain everything you need to make this heirloom project. You will treasure this forever, or it makes a beautiful gift for your bookish friend.

You don’t need a hoop to stitch, this, just stitch straight onto the special bookmark fabric that is edged with a lovely scalloped finish. Then when you’re done, add the felt backing that’s also. Included in the kit!

We’ve got a YouTube video to help you with this one too :)

This audio is so accurate 😭 Why is my brain like this?! My current completely unrealistic diversions/ponderings…..write a book, start a new subscription box, learn to speak Danish, sew a new summer wardrobe, train for a half marathon, redecorate the lounge, turn the garage into a gym, start a new business, homeschool the kids, take family year off to travel…..I could go on. Anyone else?

Okay so this is an idea for the weekend 🌸

Grabbed this frame from Primark for £4.50 and I love it but it won’t be staying brown for long.

Keep the glass in, prime it, then paint it - those little tester pots are perfect for this (incredible colours, not too pricey).

Then layer on pressed flowers or cut-outs from a magazine, shapes from wrapping paper or a napkin using Mod Podge. One coat to stick, one coat to seal. Matte, gorgeous, zero peeling. Done.

This is the kind of project that looks like you spent way more time and money than you did, you’re going to create a little work of art!

Charity shops and Primark are your best friends here. Let me know if you make one, I want to see it 👇

I was updating the website with our business story and searching for some photos so I thought I’d share them!

This business is a slow work in progress but when I look back on how far we’ve come I’m proud and happy that I took the risk to build something. And when I started I had no idea what that would be, I just wanted to make stuff and run a creative business so the start was very experimental!

I was also thinking very fondly of my father in law Neil who was always so encouraging of my dreams and ideas even when they were just embryonic and I probably couldn’t communicate them very well. He did something that meant so much in those early days and lent me the money to buy a laser cutter.

That he believed in me to do that was the encouragement I needed then and I’ll always remember it.

Those early days were precious times, being able to be at home with my little boys and being free from a 9-5 was just heaven! It’s changed a bit now, the boys are more independent and the work is a little more stressful but every day I still count my lucky stars this is what I get to do!

I can say with full confidence that joining Home Exchange has changed our lives, it’s opened up a whole world of travel and cultural experiences that are so rich and varied, that we just didn’t have before.

I remember signing up and thinking who is going to want to come and stay in our house? But we had our first request for an exchange to go to Paris during the Olympics and stay in Montmartre in this amazing apartment. The family from Paris came and stayed in our house because they were attending a family wedding. Oh my goodness, these things happen!

Since then we’ve just had requests and done swaps and used our guest points to stay all over the world: Berlin, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Paris, Edinburgh, Whitley Bay. It’s been amazing and we’ve had some of the most lovely holidays and made amazing memories. I actually prefer doing holidays this way now because you get such a local’s experience of the place that you’re visiting, which is so interesting. It teaches the boys just how different people live in different places, which I just think is amazing.

If you are stressing thinking, “I can’t afford a holiday,” I cannot encourage you enough to sign up to this website. Even if you live in a place you think no one is going to want to swap, it’s amazing. You can use my code. If you use my code, I get points to use on future stays so full transparency.

we love you! I’ll add my link in the stories if you want to sign up (you don’t pay for a membership until you find a swap!) or you can use my code chloe-42451

….there’s a global shortage of needlepoint canvas! 😭

So our kits are in very short supply…we’ll have a few back in a week or so but after that they will be out until the end of July at the earliest 🤦🏼‍♀️

Our lives are a constant juggle of keeping things in stock and trying to become more efficient, we basically operate a mini-factory in our studio and it’s a challenge!

At least this gives me time to design loads of new styles for this kit.

Who wants to try needlepoint? 🪡(In July 😂)

We spent the whole of Sunday working on the garden, my mum came up and we weeded! I am now of the age where I find gardening really fun, and therapeutic- I never thought I would! But time just flies when I’m out there.

I’m also eagerly spotting anything I can press with my flower press, and these daisies are actually perfect. Really hope they keep their brightness and colour after pressing. I’ll let you know!

Our flower press has everything you need to have a go at this wholesome outdoor craft. There’s black paper to arrange your pressed flowers onto (because they really pop on a black background), some tweezers for handling delicate flowers and a cotton bag to carry your flower press out and about with you.

The perfect summer craft project 🌼🌼🌼
