Celebrating 10 years in Loughton

After 10 years in Loughton selling beautiful kitchen and bedroom makeovers, under the name The Door Store, we decided it was time we had a makeover too! We are now called THE KITCHEN AND MAKEOVER COMPANY.

For years our customers have asked if we sold kitchens, and of course we always have done. But our old name was confusing and didn’t say ‘we also sell kitchens’ so we decided that was something we needed to change. But we aren’t just selling kitchens, we are selling ITALIAN kitchens, which are a world away from run of the mill, bog standard kitchens. These kitchens are the stuff of dreams, with designs you’ll drool over from the land of the world’s greatest designers, artists and creatives. And they’re fantastic value too!”

BUT WHY HAVE WE CHOSEN ITALIAN KITCHENS?

We have a natural affinity with Italy. We fell in love with everything Italian on holiday in Sorrento years ago. So much so that we went back in 2002 to get married, staying in Positano and took our guests on the spectacular Amalfi Drive up to Ravello where we had our ceremony.
