I love embroidery…

Am I slightly obsessed? Maybe 😶

I genuinely love learning different methods, and new skills. And when clients allow me to use my knowledge to bring a design to life… well that’s just perfect.

created a design for a jacket, to be worn for her new venture

The last image shows the original illustration.

With embroidery, it’s really important to remember that the design will have texture, and therefore it’s important to add different stitch directions/angles.

Hopefully these images show that by applying stitches in a specific way, you can make the design ‘pop’ and come to life 😊

This is one of the first large banners I made a couple of years ago, it’s still one of my favorites. And it’s finally off to it’s new home 🥹

I feel like I have developed my skills quite a bit further since then, and I’m loving the idea of producing something like this again but adding chain stitch detailing 🥰

This is the sort of work I want to push myself to create for 2026 ☺️✨

Booking in, doesn’t mean you have to know everything right now. We can work that out over time and with plenty of visuals to help.

Playing around with scrap fabrics (I have a lot 🫣)

Created a bookmark, which would work well as a quirky alternative to the traditional guest name place cards.

And these would also serve as a great wedding favour & keepsake ❤️

I will be at on the 21st March for the wedding event 💒

I’m a little bit behind for prep this year 🫣

Still enjoying experimenting with the chain stitch machines, for example stitching on paper!

Hopefully I will be ready for the day, but looking forward to seeing everyone one 🥰

My clients wanted a Tolkien quote on their wedding banner, as well as a very specific colour scheme 🎨

I love how the orange, peach & green work so well together & hopefully matches their gowns & suits perfectly 💚

This week I was super lucky to meet up with the amazing Jen from in Brighton this week.

I also got to meet the famous Gerry the dog, and yes he is just as handsome in real life.

I have been in awe of Jen’s chainstitch art for a while, and I finally got to see her work in real life as well as her studio.

She produces large scale works, as well as intricate designs on sometimes very tricky fabrics (check out the photos) - the level of skill is insane!

She is super humble and I am so chuffed to have made a friend who I can talk non stop embroidery (for hours on end - no joke) although it was mostly me asking questions 🫣
And also share a glass of wine with 🥰
