❤️ THE THINGS YOU DON'T SEE
When you walk into Made, you see shelves full of beautiful handmade things curated into lovely displays with everything having its rightful place...
What you don't see is everything that happens behind the scenes to get them there.
The hours spent making, sewing, painting, designing, creating, packaging, pricing, rearranging and occasionally wondering where on earth we've put something.
Late nights, the abandoned cups of tea, the ideas that worked brilliantly and the ones that, well, let's just say they were learning experiences. 😂
And sometimes that means the view from behind the counter looks slightly less like a beautiful handmade shop and slightly more like the aftermath of a small explosion in a craft cupboard. 😳
Stacey may never forgive us for sharing photographic evidence of this.
And yes, before anyone asks, that IS an unopened box of peppermint tea lurking amongst the rapidly disappearing coffee supplies. Nicky bought it during a brief period of believing she could cut down on caffeine. The box remains unopened. The coffee does not! We think that tells you everything you need to know. 😂☕
But that's the bit we rather love.
Because Made isn't just about the things on the shelves. It's about the people who put them there. ❤️
