A wreath made to reflect the beautiful autumnal colours and natural style of a bride’s gorgeous wedding bouquet 🧡
This was a really lovely brief as I had the freedom to choose the flowers and foliages without needing to exactly copy the ingredients in the original wedding floristry. A few are the same, like the strawflowers and amaranth & some of the foliages and grasses. Others are various autumn seed heads and catkins gathered from my garden.
I used a mix of dried and glycerine-preserved foliages to give a look of even more diversity of ingredients (beech, eucalyptus, olive, snowball viburnum, pittosporum, cotinus). I think my favourite preserved foliage is the viburnum that I picked at the very start of October so the green leaves were tinged with red.
Thanks so much for this wonderful commission 🍂
